If you arrive through the Tijuana International Airport, you will not do any further paperwork or pass controls and leave quickly. There are also no checkpoints or filters if you arrive by road from the United States, in order to travel to our magical town.

State economic reactivation strategies have allowed restaurants, hotels and cafes to reopen their doors to the new normality this season and have arranged the necessary measures to take care of you and us all.

In all cases, the establishments will have a visible certificate that guarantees that they follow the official health protocols.

Be a considerate and responsible tourist. Please remember:

• Always wear face masks indoors.
• Take antibacterial gel with you.
• Wash your hands frequently.
• Keep a healthy distance from other people.
• Preferably, contact the hotel or restaurant you are going to visit to secure a place and avoid waiting or crowds.
• Be patient with the processes that they indicate you and with the staff willing to help you.
• Do your part to make these processes smooth.

At the exit:

If your return by plane, consider arriving an hour earlier than usual, check in online and answer the AFAC (Federal Civil Aviation Agency) Questionnaire for Identifying Risk Factors for Travelers.

At the airport there will be a special sanitary filter with an infrared thermometer. The use of face masks and keeping a healthy distance is mandatory. Your airline may ask you to comply with some other additional measure. Find out before arriving at the airport.

By car, the exit is normal and without filters from the authorities. Keep in mind that crossings into the United States are restricted: only citizens and legal residents or workers whose activity is considered essential can cross.

The Medical Line operates as normal, from Monday to Sunday from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. Just make sure whoever is accompanying you can cross. If the clinic or professional that attends you used to send you back with a driver, check in advance that they will be able to continue offering that service.
